I wished I had more time to blog. This mid-term break has been a special one for me. I've spent FIVE (5) days to do a competition video for the NETS Corporation. The video is about introducing their very own Call Centre. They need a video to take part in the CCAS Annual Contact Centre Awards 2006 and 3rd Regional Call Centre Awards, a video that tells the judges how good the centre is! The centre got the Bronze Medal for New Call Centre category last year. Of course, they are aiming for higher achievement this year! I'm kinda streesed since my first "external video" is for competition purpose! Thanks to Marie for believing in my video skill.

Apparently, the person-in-charge from NETS for this video was our Tech Crew senior, Tien Yung. He's now the Customer Service Executive in NETS Pte Ltd. This even stressed me more, as Tech Crew seniors know something about video!

Well, in order to cut the story short, I spent two evenings to film the staff and 3 days on editing. They needed the video in 4 days time coz their video submission deadline was on friday (yesterday)! So I ended up camping in the lovely editing room from tuesday nite until friday morning, it was almost like how i spent my days for doing the softball team champion highlight in early June.

My production was submitted to the judges by Tien Yung at 3pm+ yesterday. I was relaxed when they said they are satisfied with the video. Nevertheless, I felt bad about the mistake I made -- wrong spelling ! WTF! How could I have mischecked it?!! "Assistant supervisor" became "Assitant supervisor", what an unforgivable typo! Luckily Tien Yung figured it out when we were watching it together in the office at around 1:30pm on submission day (well, the latest submission time was 4pm!) Both of us rushed back to Temasek Hall to do the correction.

yup, finally, we burned another set of DVD and VCD, just because of the missing S.

And of course, as promised to myself, I had some little breakthroughs again, on each of my own production. There's no point keep on doing videos if you don't improve. Imagine you always just solve maths questions like 2x2=4. you'll stop loving maths one day. There might be people who say "there's nothing else i can learn anymore in vpu", but to me, I learned something everytime when i do a video. I've been joining vpu since i came to Temasek, and there are still a lot of things yet to be learned. Bow to those who have learned all, you guys are genius.

Hopefully my video will add some values to the judgement of the call centre for the awards. To the NETS staff, you guys rock. Sandy always reminded me to remove her pimples if they appeared in the video, sorry i couldn't! oops......

Oh ya, Su Ann, Sze Man and I went to Kbox this afternoon. It was planned even before mid-term break, so I got to go although i thought i could start studying this morning. But I had fun with you girls. Thanks for reminding me that we are having mid-term BREAK! You are the few whom i don't mind my out-of-tune singing is being heard by!
